If tomorrow comes

I remember reading this novel some 13 years back.During my earlier stint it was just the rush to read a thriller and knowing the end of the story. Again i got a chance of going through it. Though it is a typical tamil movie story, some of the contents are thought provoking. The basic story is of revenge by the girl who is dumped by few men and how she then manages to take it back to the society which just almost buried her. I found lot of logic missing when i read it again.

Fine. Let me first put the positive points together.
1. How the girl i.e the central character maintains her dignity and self-respect when she goes to meet her in-laws at the very beginning of the story, though she wants to impress them.
2. The way she changes herself in the prison with all those mental strength and poise. Particularly this was the most wonderful part of the story. i.e Fighting back the most difficult encounter with a focussed mind and the positive approach from no point of return.Never give-up is the central theme of this part.


The rest of the part are so cinematic and you can see them in all Rajini movies and especially "SIVAJI"

P.S - I have a great doubt whether shankar is an ardent fan of Sidney Sheldon. Somehow i feel that the movie plots are more or less based on his novel.

MY SCHOOL

Today went to my school where i wandered, learnt so many things apart from studies. Just thoughts kept on pouring from the moment i stepped in to the school. My God!!!!!!!!!!!!! The whole wing which i studied had vanished and the school ground which would talk about so many fights, crushes and girlie gossips, pains and vains , fear and the celebrations and what not could not be found. I would always boast of our schools prayer and the assembly in the morning. Gosh only the stage is the which is left there with huge buildings. My heart sank like the titanic.



I would rather say and even boast that nobody would have enjoyed their what is called their 'TEENS" like we friends did. Though it was a girls gang, the fun we enjoyed was unlimited. We would just go to school every morning with one adventure which we would like to share with our freinds. Even the whole pathway i.e the route from home to school was like an adventure.



The nicknames which we would keep for the boys were the most annoying ones. the derivation of such nickname was most fascinating.



Though we were the most nottiest gang we kept people at their feet with our marks. people around us and all the studious ones would wonder whether we would be sleeping and moving with our books in hand once we reach home. Man! That was a fantastic life.............



Little did I realise when our teachers said that school life was the best and utilise the most..........



IF I GET ONE MORE CHANCE I WOULD SURE LIKE TO LIVE THE LIFE ONCE AGAIN WITH THE SAME SET OF FRIENDS... ITS A TREASURE FOR ME TO CHERISH ALL ALONG

Juggling Mind - Temper

Of late, I have been wondering whether i have gone insane. Wandering mind...... restlesness........losing temper........ u name it i have it all.
YEAR 2007 - I JUST HATE IT

i just dont know the reason. Though was going out every weekend maybe would have missed a very few. Doing shopping .... Filling the house with gadgets. Going to office.. doing hell lot of work..... still i dont find anything amusing.... It was rather dull

Let me hope for a better 2008. Watchaa i have already handfull of plans to keep me busy throughout the year.Ya i do literally mean it..Busy till December 31st 2008.

Keeping my fingers crossed. Lets see how things work

Birthday

After 364 days of counting endlessly finally my birthday arrived with a bang!!!!!!!!!!!! Was watching the mobile calender endlessly for the dot to arrive. Atlast it came....... Dug myself into the pillow and was waiting for my hubby to wish me as usual........ After 5 minutes though it appeared as though 5 years had passed lifted my head. Alas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my hubby was there nicely hugging my kid and sleeping there in his warmthness as though he had not slept for ages.......... As i didnt have anything to do at that time just wished myself a nice happy birthday and went to sleep

PS. He compensated this with nice compliments from GRT Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.................... the next evening. so this time mannichu vittudalam.

Benazir

Bodies scattered....blood all over..people crying endlessly....This is what all the TV channels were showing for the past 24hours ultimately. Just was wondering for a long time what purpose does this actually serve. Though the primary aim is to convey flash news to the people, most of the channels were actually capitalising this and saw this as their primary object of drawing viewership. little do they understand that showing the turmoils repeatedly would actually spoil as well wound the young minds watching this. Neither the news channels understand nor the people watching endlessly in their TV sets realise the impact this would make on the young minds.

Looking for a rented house

We are actually looking for a house?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The process began 2 months back.
There is a saying that"veeta katti paar, kalyanam panni paar". I would like to add one more caption to this saying.It would be "vadaga veedu thedi paar".
There were 2 specific instances which drove me to this extremity.
The process is as follows:
Acho tomorrow is saturday.We would be waiting for the paperkaaran to arrive.this one is for property plus.Then for the delivery boy of mambalam times-Kadavule namakku seekiram varanume.
Both of them arrived. Now the browsing starts.I would tell my husband 'you try for this and i would try for this'.Before telling the rent of the property they ask you the following questions:
1.Neenga brahmin thaane?
2.IT professionals? ( As though they are the only one who would be giving rent and the rest of them are staying for osi - think these people never need any lawyer, doctor or chartered accountants-ellathukkum IT people pothum pola irukku)
3.How many people - (if u say 3 thats all - oh so much people)
4.Then rite from your gothram to your birth place they will ask everything

Okay let me come to this 1st incident

There was this ad and when contacted asked us to come by 10.00am since that was mahalaya amavasya. Fine. I went there . Oh my god! There were atleast 10 families waiting there. That thatha was standing with all the pooja items behind him. First he asked everyone to give their address and phone number in a diary.Meanwhile he was eliminating the people by these questions -
1.How many people?
One elderly couple said: We 2 only
Reply: Acho you people are as old as we are. We cannot rent to old people. It will land us in unwanted litigations. How can we spend time by seeing each others face alone

Next- One normal couple : We 2 and our father and mother
Reply:Acho. I cannot give for 4 people. imagine 1person utilises 3 bucket of water and so for 4 of you people it would take 12 buckets. so it would be better if it is 3.

Next-One person-Iam looking for my brother,his wife and my mom
Reply:Acho. There are no children. Then sorry i would leave only for persons having a child.

Next-Iam a lawyer witha kid
Reply:Acho.Being myself a lawyer, i have decided that i would leave only for those other than lawyers

My god? i just left the scene without giving my id proof and others though i fall within his conditions.
So tired of writin this one incident-will continue with the second later

But,please next time when looking for a house do go with your passport,jathagam,ration card,etc.

ore ponnu

Let me write on the name of this blog.

Ore ponnu literally means single girl. Though it is easy to say one is good
there arises so many difficulties. And to make it worse if it continues for the
second generation its rather so difficult for the 2nd generation child.
People also tend to ask "ore ponna"? I was rather confused. Are they wondering,
or making fun, or ist a circastic remark. Illa romba parithabama nnu.

You dont have any one to fight with,play with , share with or even to talk for that matter.
So, I have taken a big sabatham during my early days that i would atleast have 2 children.
it also depends on much other things.

just doesnt know whether this also applies to ore paiyan ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!
