Giggles all the way....

Yesterdays experience was like re-visiting good olden school days..It was more lively and memorable because i had been giggling all the way for about half-an-hour and that too with not so close friends but with just known people. And that indeed made it all the way more reminiscing....
Actuallah athu oru periya vishayame illa.... From the morning i had this nagging headache and all the more nagging due to sinusitis (thanks to Ps homework - naanga ellathaiyume last minute thaane pannuvom, so got up at 4.30 and did his homework, the reason for not doing the previous night was aathukarars cousins marriage reception which itself warrants a seperate post).
And being Monday P had his dance class and me thought of having a cup of coffee after dropping him. Actually his class is in a mall and myself and another friend decided to go to the basement and have coffee. All the way we came in lift and just didnt notice that the shop was closed. We were so animatedly engrossed with our talks that we failed to notice and it was pointed by another friend who was about to leave her daughter too.
So, we decided to stay in the ground floor and were waiting for her to leave her daughter and come. The place we were standing was exactly opposite to a shop which dealt with sherwanis, and specialist in bride-grooms apparel. Ippothaan ellarume antha sherwani type of wear thaaan reception kku pottukarale.....(My aathukarar is sick of them and refuses to wear even kurthas , aasaiyaa vaangina oru half-white kurthaa appadiye cup-board la thoongarthu... hmmmm, and P athukkum mela , athu pakkathileye porathilla, appadiye appava kondu irukkan - poor me :( )
Seri , now on to the topic.... There was this man who was trying various types and i think probably for his reception....It was so funny and you should just look at the types of dresses he chose.... We three were all the time looking and gazing and making fun of him. You know what it was one blue outfit athileyum peacock blue with the same material tie hanging like one loop , and atha vitta reddddd colour inner jacket with all the jiginaaas and work with a white over-coat with loads and loads of thread work and chamikki... Seri itha kooda mannichu vittudalaamnaa oru grey colour sherwani thaan thaanga mudiyala..
I have nothing against men wearing the sherwani, but some come with gaudy designs and it hampers the whole businesss.... Anyway, he came alone and all the while was on the phone (may be fiance kittaa mms anupi kettunde irunthaaro ennavo ;) ) while trying different outfitss...Avar mattum oru gang oda vanthirunthaarunna kandippa naanga escape aagi iruppom......Avaroda ketta neram, seriyaa kooda try pannama enga alambal thaangama escape aagittaru.....
Only during school days, we would just giggle and laugh endlessly without any purpose and substance....And i had such a good time that ennoda thala vali kanamale poiruchu.....;)

PS - Sorry folks, ennoda intention sherwani tease panrathu illa, bt the gaudy outfits which the particular person tried, avvalavuthaaann

P : Unakku eppadi panam kedaikkarthu?
Me:Appa kuduthaar.
P : Appakku eppadi kedaikkum?
Me: Neeye sollu paarkalaam?
P : Velaikku ponathaala kedaichathu.
Me : Yes, correct...Unakkuthaan theriyarthe apparam en ketkara
P : Appo, appa unakku mattum thaan panam tharuvaara, enakku tharamaattara,
naaan mattum toys ellam vaangikka koodathaa, nee thaan enakku vaangitharanumaa..
Ithukku ennatha sollaaa, oru vazhiya periyavanga, chinnavangannu oppethi samalikka vendiyathuthaaan....

How does love happen?

We were totally 5 girls in the class during our 11th and 12th. Our school had both CBSE as well State board , and since it was a general practice among students to switch over from CBSE to State , we had only minimum strength. And athuleyum commerce group appadinna kekkave vendam. There is this general belief that only students who lack intelligence and who score less marks go to commerce stream. But to say the truth everyone of them in our class had secured around 90% in their 12th and it was more than the average of science stream. And among them half of us turned out to be professionals. Okie now let me put a stop to one of my famous ramblings and turn towards the topic in discussion.

During our free sessions we will always indulge in group discussions. Please dont assume that we would discuss about boys or studies which is a normal practice. But on topics of national importance like love, character building, right age for marriage and the most frequent one being swot analysis of every one present from others point of view. This would be lively because the boys present would be more studious and would study with both ears glued to our discussions.

We would discuss any given topic in a debate format which would always end with yours truly being in the winning group. Iam a very convincing speaker though always end up being a boom-boom maadu in a given argument with my dear aathukarar. He somehow convinces me and leaves me no time to think. Hmmm athellam ippo ethukku!!!!!!!!!!

Okie , now one such topic was "How does love happen?" Does it happen at first sight or only after considerable time? I feel that there exists some spark when u meet Mr/Ms Right. And befriending him and being a friend for sometime and all a hogwash afterall. Do you think a girl/boy would try to show out their negative aspects when being with a opposite sex. IT IS ALWAYS ABSURD. Each and every one of them would try to show and project their positive aspects only.

And i have seen people saying that we have common interests and attributes and that is why we have fallen in love. Ella vishayathilum othu pona apparam life la oru interest eh irukkaathu. When you truly love a person you should accept them as they are and is this a job interview to see whether he is compatible enough to be your spouse....I dont advocate the fact you should love what the cause/effect may be or however the person may be. In fact, i have felt glad when few of my friends broke their affair after finding out the dark side of the person.

Whether love or arranged , people go into the relationship only based on probabilities and i personally feel that they would be more cautious to save their marriage in case of love marriage to avoid blame game.

I remember our economics mam saying once " In anycase whether you love somebody or not , you people are going to end up marrying somebody and having a dependent relationship at some point in your life. So why waste your present moments in falling for it and just for the sake of love ruining your studies (some people). "

But these days girls are clever and they just dont go and fall into it with closed eyes. In fact they consider all those merits and de-merits before choosing a life partner. I pity only boys these days.

Impressions

I feel people should travel a lot. It really gives u so much to think about and by various means of transport especially. By travel i mean,...
